students who are so slow in copying notes

to encourage my students to be fast in copying notes on the board, i (traditionally and ideally) check their notebooks and sign there.

beside my signature (and happy face), i write their rank-top 10 finishers or the first 10 students who finished copying the notes :)

#1 finisher T. jerson

i told them that it's an additional point to their handwriting subject grade if they land in the top 10.

note: top 10 finishers could be disqualified if the handwriting is not that legible.

i hope this one works.

what to do with your rowdy pupils: the churchy way

May mga estudyante talaga na laging nagpapasakit ng ulo ng mga guro nila.

Ayaw magsulat.
Tayo nang tayo sa upuan.
Laging mukhang taong-grasa pag uwian.

Mag-pray.

(Eksena tuwing recess, lunch break o dismissal.)
Ok, everybody stand. Starting today, we will pray for your other classmates. I think we need to pray for ___________. Do I have to state the reasons? Ok, aside from him, who are we going to pray for? Let's list their names on the board.

What will our prayer be about? Ah ok. That they become more behave next week. That they will respect their teacher and classmates. That they will take care of their things. (Teacher writes the prayer items on the board.)

Who wants to lead the prayer? Yes, ________.

Some of the students, whose names are written on the board, cover their ears.
(After the prayer)

OK, on Sunday, when you go to church, do not forget to pray for your classmates. Their names are on the board. You can copy their names. Who are going to pray for them? Raise your hand.

Ok, you may take your lunch/go now.

The End.

Lord, into Your hands I commend my students.
