My July has never been this busy. Compared to the busy months I've had before (Hello December and March.), I am loving every bit of July. I guess, teachers' lives, in general, have been designed to have that "heaven and hell week" feel. We never run out of things to be done. Or sometimes worry about.
Yeah, I do those things. And that's far from my idea of a suicidal attempt. It's our (teachers') way of having fun (really)--the secret of our youthfulness (naks!). This is partly sarcasm.
Aside from the colorful teacher's hat, which I wear Mondays to Fridays, I try on different hats on weekends.
Make our lesson plans. Prepare the visual aids. Search for educational songs and videos. Formulate questions for a test. Check piles of essays. Record the scores. Compose a jingle. Teach the jingle to students. Train students for a contest. Talk with/to the parents. Answer phone calls. Submit proposals. And the list goes on...
